2021 Family Reunion
Cancellation
Dear family,
It is with heavy hearts that we have decided to cancel the 49th Annual Brounce Family Reunion. As much as our hearts want to hold the reunion, our minds tell us that we should not gather together. Due to the resurgence of the COVID 19 Delta variant and the latest information detailing its highly contagious nature, we believe this is the best option to keep all of us safe. We hope to see everyone next year on August 6, 2022 for the 50th Annual Brounce Family Reunion! It will be hosted by the descendants of the seventh brother, Robert Lane “Duck” Brounce.
Love, Uncle Howdy & Aunt Janet, Gail & Dave, Gwen
Greetings from South Carolina! It’s time to update everyone on plans for the 49th year of the Brounce Family Reunion (the 48th was cancelled due to COVID-19).

Columbus Club (Knights of Columbus)
1003 Spaulding Drive
Aiken, SC 29801
The building is a smoke-free facility that is air conditioned with two bathrooms, a kitchen (including refrigerator/ice maker, oven, range top and microwave) and provides lots of parking and is handicapped accessible throughout. We have access to everything from 11AM-10PM. Knights of Columbus offers a reasonably priced cash bar of beer, wine and cocktails and does require a legal/valid ID. (Dave and Gail have secured the location for us and guests are not permitted to bring our own alcohol - either inside or outside the premises, including the parking lot. This is the only venue that accommodates the size of our family, the hours we needed and allows alcohol to be served). There is room to mingle and visit, play children’s games/crafts, horseshoes (Howard has shoes), and cornhole. Inside tables and chairs are provided where we can sit to eat our meals, so please plan to bring your own lawn chair for outside seating.
Regarding face masks: we will be required to follow local/state guidelines and will keep you posted as to what those will be in August, by updating this website, sending emails to everyone on the family address book, and mailing printed copies to our family tree contacts (in 7-brothers order: Jessica, Tracie, Gale, Claudia, Dottie, Gwen, and Bob.)
